Reactable sound synthesizer

A group at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona have combined the increased interest in digital music with a similar tool to Microsoft Surface to develop Reactable. Described as a `collaborative electronic music instrument with a tabletop tangible multi-touch interface’ the device allows users to create a sound synthesizer through cameras placed underneath the the table which analyzes the surface of where the users fingertips are placed.
