I feel London

This is a really nice idea from Andy Whitlock at Poke. I Feel London allows people to tag places in London that reflect what they are feeling at the time like Naughty, Hungover, Energetic, Romantic, Sophisticated, Chilled, Girly, Manly or Broke. I particularly like the cheeky short cut in tube station tip off, thanks.
Ask Twitscoop what’s going down on Twitter
August 18, 2008 | 2 Comments

So this isn’t going to be one of those great posts that fills you with inspiration, but if you like Twitter, it will make you smile. Twitscoop is a great site that allows you to see what is being discussed on Twitter in real-time. Key topics that are being tweeted, are displayed as a tag cloud which is pretty handy for seeing key events develop in any one day.
Chemical Brothers Geo-Tagged Movie Challenge

Now, I have previously expressed my love for the Chemical Brothers here, so I can assure you that I am not being bias when I say their latest project is pretty impressive. To promote their forthcoming album Brotherhood, on their website they are asking fans to submit “short video clips (2 to 20 seconds) or photograph about your favourite Chermical Brothers track”. Users then upload their work to a Google Map and tag it. The winning entries will then be shown on September 1st in line with the albums launch, on a Google Earth channel and also on the Chemical Brothers YouTube channel.

Wordle is a fun little tool that let’s you display a site, your del.icio.us tags or random text in the form of a tag cloud. Here’s what my del.icio.us bookmarks look like *geek*.
Urban Takeover

I just love this. Urban Takeover mixes graffiti with geo-tagging to bring an game that can be played either alone or as part of a team. Users go to the site, download stickers and then place them in areas around the globe that they would like to lay claim to. You then send a text message to Urban Takeover and formally register your claim. The website shows the areas your team have claimed and where the hotspots are to get your more points. The competitive element comes where another team can take your claim as their own, sending you a text message informing you of this attack so you can fight back. A Team Awesome project is needed I think.
