This is an absolutely beautifully designed site called in Dutch “Ik zie ik zie wat jij niet ziet” (which translates as “I see I see what you don’t see”) It has been developed for SIRE (Stichting Ideële Reclame - Foundation for Non-commercial Campaigns) which is not a government-funded association, who works on urgent issues in society that do not get enough attention. The work done for SIRE by advertising agencies, web agencies and other companies is donated as is air time, ad space and other facilities.

Nowandnext.com have developed an Innovation Timeline from 1900 to 2050, highlighting all the best innovations that we have witnessed to date, and cover the next 47 years that are yet to come. The timeline is open source so users are able to adapt it or move the timeline how they see fit. Some of the ideas are really quite good, but to the user who added “Virtual Holidays”, are you kidding me? Real ones needed and always savoured.
